Sir, 
Please refer to your RTI application dated 19.05.2018 received in the Public Section on 08/06/2018, transferred through Prime Minister's Office vide O.M. No. RT1/661512018-PMR dated-28.0-5.2018, for providing the reply regarding Nati-Onal AnThern of India. 
2. As regards your queries, it is informed that the National Anthem was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 24th January 1950. The playing/singing of National Anthem is regulated by the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971 and Orders relating to National Anthem of India. As per the Orders relating to National Anthem of India, the playing time of the full version of National Anthem is 52 seconds and of short version is 20 seconds.
